1. Open the page you'd like to add an image to.
2. Click in the page editor area where you want the image to go.
3. Click the Insert/Edit Image button. ( )
The Insert/Edit Image window will appear as a pop-up. If you don't see it, it may be behind your active browser window.
4. Click the Upload Button ( )
The data fields in the top half of the window will fill in automatically, after you've selected and uploaded an image. You can then change Description and Title to give Google more info about the image.

|
5. In the Upload window, click the Browse button.
Find the file on your computer, and click Open. Check "Select File after Upload" and "Create unique file" (this last option will keep you from accidentally overwriting images on your site with the same name).
|
 |
Then click "Ok"
|
|
6. Select the image you want
note: if you selected the "Select File after Upload" option in step 5, the image will already be selected.
Browse to the Folder where you have uploaded the image, then click on the IMAGE NAME. (If you click the image ICON, you can still see the image preview, but the editor does not select it.)

7. Set the Image Attributes (optional)
For best search engine performance, you should enter a good image Description. You may also want to adjust the amount of white space that surround your image (the VSpace and HSpace fields), the Alignment settings, and any border.
Description: describe the image in a few words so a blind person (or Google) will know what the image is.
Title: Same as description.
Alignment puts the picture on the left or right. Alignment also controls whether the text flows around the image, or if the image pushes the text down. When you make changes to that, the preview (strawberry image) will change to show you what you'll get. You can change these attributes later, as well.
Border: If you make an image into a link, web pages will put a border around it. If you DON'T want the border, put a check next to "border," but set it to zero.
