Training and Support

As an STN member, we train you to manage your own site content, since the focus of our system is to provide tools that allow you to use your site in the way that best serves you. We know that not everyone comes to us with a Masters in Computer Science, so we do our best to get you comfortable using the system. We also can provide ongoing content management as a billable service.

3. Hour-long training session videos are archived on our members-only Support Center site.
4. Ongoing live webinar training sessions can be attended twice a week at no cost. New employee? A little refresher? No problem.
5. Special-topics webinars cover subjects like new system features, toy industry issues, and best web practice.
6. Our "Ticket" system lets you report issues with your site or requests for new features.

System Upgrades

Upgrades and new features are added to the system over time, and are applied to your site as part of your membership. Some extra services may have a cost associated with them for installation or customization, but system upgrades and features are included. Past upgrades include:

1. Safety Warnings - all products on your site can be flagged with the appropriate safety warning.
2. Coupons - you can set up three different kinds of online coupons.
3. Shipping Calculator for shoppers to check on each Product Details page

Special Features Requests

Sometimes members need special features. We have good programmers on staff, and can build out special requests as billable items. Our system also has Web Services in place (SOAP, etc), for your own programmers to hook into your site. Some members have  used this capability to have custom bridges built between their site and their POS system.
