What does “Locally Managed”
mean? It means that you, the owner, will have the
option to change most elements on your web site.
. . anytime, and from any computer. As long as you
have access to an internet connection and a standard
browser, you are ready to go.
This means creative freedom and the
ability to keep user costs down. By using WYSWYG
(what you see is what you get) tools, owners can
see changes in real time, and preview the changes
before enacting them.
For example, you will be able to create
your own product categories simply by selecting
a “add new category” button, and then
naming the category. You can customize inventory
from the existing database - for example, add your
own text descriptions. Or add your own specialty
products by completing simple forms.
The program will also feature an extensive
Help, or “how to…” section. Owners
will have immediate access to a library of easy
to understand help files. We plan to include additional
specialty tools, such as a simple image editor,
at no additional cost. On top of all this, for those
local shop owners who wish to have a professional
design staff on call, we will offer reduced rates
for ongoing service agreements.
